Swami Haridasji's Keli Leela in Bhaav Smadhi 1-40 padaas

Nikunj is a place in Vrindavan which is surrounded by vrinda or tulsi shrubs. In these grooves of creepers the divine jori or couple loves to spend their pastime. This place exists in Nidhivan from where Shri Banke Bihari appeared by hearing the sangeet of Swami Shri Haridasji some 500 hundred years ago. Some of his leelas which Swami Shri Haridasji experienced in the nikunj in his Samadhi state are being explained below. All effort has been made to explain according to what he actually saw or experienced but incase something has been added by my own bhava, I ask forgiveness from Him. KELI LEELA 1. ‘Mai ri sahaj jori pragat bhai’ …… When Bihari ji appeared on Bihari Panchmi day in the month of December, there was a music recital where great classical singers had gathered to sing for Bihari ji. Swami Haridasji sang such enchanting padaas that Bihari ji was forced to make an appearance. Both Radha ji and Bihari ji appeared and were smiling at the devotees. At once Swami ji uttered ‘Mai (

BRIJ KI HORI

The month of phagun comes in the month of Feburary . This is the Basant season when the winter season ends and summer seasons replaces it. The season at this time of the year is indeed very pleasant because it is neither too cold nor it is so warm . New leaves sprout from the trees and flowers bloom every where giving there intoxicating scent . The sakhi’s are singing joyfully ; sakhi basant has come bringing joy everywhere. The flowers are blooming and the birds are singing here and there . The Yamuna is flowing , the boats are rowing. The bumble bee is buzzing and the creepers are guzzing . Pink, yellow, blue, lotuses are floating too. The trees are gazing at their reflection. They can see their complexion. The birds are hopping and flying from one tree to another and are enjoying the company of each other . The champa, chameli, the kewara and so many other flowers are sending their scented showers. The gulab and juhi are dancing in glee , Is’nt it a beautiful sight to see! --------

POEM 4 : KELI LEELA

Radha and Krishan were playing together during dusk, when suddenly they could smell the aroma of musk. The time was divine when the stars began to shine, their hearts were beating, while they were meeting and the atmosphere of Vrindavan was greeting. The sky was shining due to the milky way, both were quiet had nothing to say, they heard the voices of the birds who were singing their glory. Both looked into each others eyes which were shining bright. Oh what a beautiful sight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POEM 3 : GOVINDA THE DELIGHTFUL BLUE BOY OF VRINDAVAN

I worship Govinda the delightful blue boy of Vrindavan who is always kind and gracious to his devotees and is always playing his leela with radha ji for the sake of them. Sham Sunder; please help me to attain your beautiful vigraha. Maya has put a sheath in my heart which does not allow my inner eyes to see you within my self. I have come to your holy lotus feet and pray to you to give me the vision so that I can see you in your Banke Bihari posture of Vrindavan. I worship the Adi Purusha, who is the darling of Nand and Yashoda, in fact the whole of Vrindavan; who resides in the heart of Radha as well as the damsels or gopis of Vrindavan. I worship Gopal, the cowherd boy who loves his cows so much that he walks barefoot just because his cows too walk barefooted. He wears a tilak of the dust of the feet of the cows, and is thus called Govinda (Go+Vind). I worship Radhavallabha who is so fond of his consort Radha ji who is always with him And cannot stay without him for a single minute.

POEM 2 : PUFFED UP RADHAJI

Oh radha ji why are you always annoyed with Bihari ji How ever will he cope up with your moods? Don’t you know he wanders all alone in the woods? Without your company he feels so miserable He is always hoping you will be adjustable He has closed his eyes and is thinking of you But here you are getting blue Like a cupid he is roaming in the whole of vrindavan Just to see your cheerful face and loving eyes Longing to see you smile !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POEM 1 : BIHARIJI & RADHAJI AT YAMUNA VIHAR

Bihari ji is full of nectar divine, One who sees him will wonder if he has had wine. A unique incident happened the other day on the Yamuna Bridge A sakhi saw an amazing scene on the ridge. A lovely creeper was hanging on the trunk of a creeper black Where the birds were chirping and singing aback. The ducks, the swan, the peacocks were singing making lovely noises One was unable to hear any other noises The scented environment was so enchanting The lotus in the yamuna were floating Red, pink, yellow, blue oh what pretty colors The creeper you can guess was our radha ji The trunk of the tree was of course none other than Sham sunder. The sakhis were watching this sight Their faces were full of happiness bright.

ASHTADAS PRINCIPLES OF SWAMI SRI HARIDASJI

1. jioun hi jioun tum raakhat ho - Our life is in the hands of Hari who has full control over us. We are like a caged bird in this body and we wish to come out of it but are unable to do so because we have to live according to the wishes of Bihariji who is our well wisher. 2. kaaho ko bus naahin tumaari kripa te hoi Bihari biharini - What ever good things we are enjoying are gifts to us by Kunj Bihariji. Maya cannot give us any happiness. In fact the so called happiness given to us by maya is very harmful to us because it keeps us away from our beloved Bihariji. Hence we should always pray and request Bihariji to bless us so that we never forget him an always remember him only because only he is our savoir. 3. kabhoo kabhoo mun it ut jaath - The jeeva or living beings are finding happiness from all sources which are deceiving us. Oh my dear munn (mind) have darshan of KunjBihari in order to get joy and peace. Nothing else can give you so much joy as his utmost beautiful form. Swami shr

SHRI HARIDAS-----THE GURU OF GURUS

BHAJAN EKAANT RUS HANS NIRE DHEERE----------------------- There are several methods to be blessed by the supreme personality of godhead. Meditation, sankirtan, padya sewa, aatam samparapan ,reading the scriptures like Ramayan, Geeta ,Bhagwatam, Purans etc These scriptures have prescribed methods of jiana yoga, karam yoga, sankhaya yoga, raj yoga etc. but bhakti yoga is considered to be the best method to meditate on him because it is easier than the other methods. In bhakti yoga one can relate Krishna as his son, friend, father, brother, husband or lover. Nearly five hundred years ago swami shri Hari das ji has given us a very unique and easy method to be always be in the company of shi Bihari Biharniji which is the biggest blessing for the fortunate people of kaliyuga. The saints had spent thousands of years in deep meditation and tough austerities but were unable to have even a glimpse of that beautiful roop of the Lord and here we are the few lucky ones whom Swamiji has chosen to e
