SWAMI SRI HARIDAS MAHIMAMRIT BY RASIKVAR NAND KISHORE

1. I bow humbly at the lotus like feet of kunj viharni ji who is for ever engrossed in the keli leela in the divine nikunj mahal along
With sri kunj bihariji. I also bow on the lotus feet of sri kunj bihariji who is always joyful to be with radhji in the nitya leela..My salutations to swami sri haridasji maharaj who is the incarnation of Lalita sakhi, the most intimate sakhi of the duo in the nikunj mahal and who is controls the various leelas of the two and gives them the utmost bliss.
Without the blessings and kripa of swamiji, no body can understand the keli leela of sri kunj bihari and kunj biharini.In the bhagwat dharam guru bhakti is given priority over even ones isht.The nij or personal mantra given by the guru is the sole mantra which can take the aspirant to meet swami sri hari dasji and be blessed by him to reach the nitya mahal. It is only by serving, respecting and having faith in your guru that you can win hari’s kripa. In the 11th skand of the sri mad bhagwatam, bhagwan krishna has himself declared that if you want to seek me, then seek me through your guru only. Never displease your guru, never find faults in him, never argue in front of him. Guru is brahma, vishnu and mahesh. In case brahmaji is annoyed ,shankerji comes to the rescue, if shankerji is annoyed bhagwan vishnu comes to save such a person , if vishnuji is annoyed,the sadguru saves the sadhak from his anger ,but if sad guru is annoyed, there is none to help you out. Hene in the words of swami lalit kishoiji (a saint from the haridas sampradya) ‘gurus bhakti is hari’s bhakti. But if you worship only hari and not your guru, you loose both hari as well as the guru. For this reason the introduction of this mahimamrit of swam sri hari das ji sings the glories of swami sri hari das ji who is known as the guru of all gurus.

2. My salutations to sri guruji’s holy feet who is the swaroop of hari. The guru who gives knowledge, vairagya, and bhakti to materialistc people who are ignorant, unintelligent and wicked,who are ever engrossed in the mundane world of materilistc pursuits. To that guru I bow my self with folded hands and seek his blessings. Nand kishore has first given his salutations to his sada guru before beginning this mahimamrit of swami sri hari das ji.

3. In the third stanza nand kishore has sung the glories of vrindavan dham. He says my namaskaar to this blissful dham which is so supreme and full of bliss. It is full of evergreen divine love and is above all the dhams of the entire unverse. EvenNarad panchratra, sakadi samihita and in the the tantra’s etc as well as sri naryana, mahadev, brahmaji, snakadik, sheshji all have sung the glories of vrindavan dham liberaly without any reservations. In the words of Biharini devji another saint of this sampradya ‘vrindavan is a mine of divine nectar which is flowing for ever from the nitya mahal where the sahchari’s are ever serving the divine jori.

4. Vrindavan dham is so blissful of divine beauty. It is illmined by the light or tej of Hari. It is most definate that one day the moon, the stars, the planets and other celecial bodies will disapear once their span of time is over. Even devi sanatni, maya which is full of many good elements also will perish one day, but nitya nikunj mahal biharij-bihariniji will only remain because they are permanent.It will for ever continue to flow its divine waves of bliss. That is why vrindavan is the supreme dham of all the dhams.

5. Inthis beautiful van which is full of ras or blissful nectar and beauty which always gives joy to everyone, the maharani Sri Radharani is forever residing here with bihariji. She is always enjoying the blissful divine momnts with her beloved shyam sundar. This keli leela is perpetual which never ends. However not all the bhakts can visualise this leela with the naked eye. Even those people who are permanent residents of brij who are staying vrindavan are unable to have even a glimpse of this keli leela. This blissful leela can be seen only by those whom sri hari dasji permits. Without the kripa of Lalita sakhi no one is entitled to enter the nitya leela.

6. The nitya vihar is the highest of all the bliss in the whole universe. It is the source of all the blissful nectar.It is the cause of causes. Even the highest devta sada shiv ji sings the glories of the nitya nikunj leela in the various scriptures such as tantra’s and samhita’s. He has himself mentioned them in the next stanza.

7. Sri sada shiv uvaach--- he says ‘Oh highly learned and great muni’s and intelecual saints. Listen attentively what I have to say.This is the greatest secret which I have not even told to my beloved wife Parvati whom I love more than my self and who is also a devoted rasik bhakt and who is very dear to me.

8. The jori sri nitya viharini as well as nitya bihariji are the cause of all the living beings. Hence they are the supreme lord of the universe. They are divine in the natural guunas, purity and bliss and all the nectars. They are unison inspite of two bodies. They are the light of lights, elements of the highest nectar of bliss, love and anand. They are called Radha Krishna which are two nouns which mean fair and black respectively. That is why adha is fair complextion where as krishna is dark black.

9. When both of them desired to expand their potency what happened ? Sada shiv explains, ‘The maharani who is the godess of vrindavan is full of nectral bliss. She is the swamini of the divya or divine vrindavan. While she was seated on a beautiful throne studded with precious gems and stones with bihariji, she looked all around heron all the four sides and realised that they were only two of them and there was not a single person more. She was wearing a garland of flowers around her neck which she took out and held her fragile soft beautiful hands

10. Then in her sweet words she called upon Lalita sakhi and called her by different names such as Bale, Bhadra, sunder kanthe meaning one who has a melodious voice, auspicios who c
comforts others and one who is beautiful. She further said lalita sakhi wake up ! Appear before me !
As soon as she uttered this a youthful maiden appeared beforeRadhaji and she was none other than the most inyimate sakhi or friend of Radhaji.

11. Sri Lalitaji was decked up beautifully . She was wearing precious ornaments which were glittering. She was chanting the name of Radha ji repeatedly. On being alled by sri mati Radha ji she came near her and uttered in her soft and sweet voice.

12. Sri Lalita uvaach- She said, ‘Oh my dear beloved and intimate sakhi ! swamni of this nikunj ! I am you daasi , which means personal servant. You are so beautiful that you have stolen my heart. Oh most pure, auspicious and pleasant natured you are the best . I request you that just as you have made my appearance in this nikunj, kindly show the same kripa on our other sakhi’s as well. They also should get an opportunity to serve you.’

13. ‘I would like them to appear for another reason also and that is with them I can talk about your glories which will be blissful for all of us.’ When Radha ji heard these words of Lalita sakhi which were full of love for he sakhi’s as well as Radhaji, bihariniji kept quite for a while to think over and said in her sweet tone in the next stanza.

14. Sri Radha ji said, ‘My dear sakhi ! I will do as you say.Now watch thse beautiful sakhi’s who are going to make an appearance from this garland which I am holding in my hand.’

15. ’Their names are Vishakha, Vijyia, Nanda, Jayanti, Sumukhi and Subhaga. Now you can meet them and have satsang with them discussing our pasties and glories just as you wished.’

16. sri Lalita sakhi said, ‘your majesty how can we talk about your leela’s unless we watch them. I request you to perform them so that we can enjoy watching you, as well as we an talk about them and feel the bliss.

17. All the sakhi’s are eager to see your nikunj leela with Shyam sunderji because it is their only and only life and soul to watch the leela’s of the divine jori bacause it gives them immense joy and pleasure. For that you must go on with your leel’s again and again.

18. Sri Radhika ji said. ‘If that is what you want, we are ready to fulfil your wishes. First all of you make a round circle. We both will come in the centre and this way you all can circumblate around us again and again. This way we will perform our dance.

19. My self and Krisna will both perform the purest of pure as well as the most divine and pleasurable raas steps and will do raas vihar. After saying this all the sakhi’s took their positions and the most unique and pleasureable maharaas was performed. After that again they entered in the nikunj mahal.

20. When both the divine couple performed this maharaas which was highly blissful, out of that raas naad was born. Naad is the sound of om. That naad was brahma or paarbrahama.

21. Out of that naad Ishwara appeared which was shining brightly and was in its purest form. From the Ishwara godess nature known as prakriti devi appeared. She was responsible of producing thousands of universal planets and other celecial bodies as well as maya. Out of that the highest and most perfect Naryan appeared.

22. Out of Naryan’s lotus like nabhi Sri Brahma ji appeared who was the greatest poet, most knowlegeable, expert in the knowledge of the veda’s and who was the creater of the srishti. Out of him the elevn rudra’s appeared. This was the universal cycle was expanded.

23. In the niverseor srishti millions of living beings appeared. They are called jeevas. Out of these jeevs some were of very good and pure nature who became devotees of Vishnu. Another group of people were those whose mind was covered by maya and hence they became the jeevs of the lower category who got indulged in the materialistic pursuits of the world and they were contened and happy in that state only.

24. The third caregory of the jeevs were attractd to the rajisk tamo nature of the rudra god and they were interested in the bhakti of shankerji. They enjoyed the dance of Natraj, they liked the sound of shiva’s damru (drum) which he always carries in his hand. They also loved the singi naad of shankerji. Some of them got engrossed in the tamoguni bhakti of rudra –durga kali, while others were enchanted by the moha maya who were dutiful jeevs who were unhappy due to their misdeed in their past births. That was the reason why they were not free from the cycle of death and birth. However none of the three categories of jeevs had any knowledge about the niyta vihar. If they had known about it , they would have surely engaged themselves in that bhakti only.

25. The father of all known as param pitha, Brahmaji told about his sons Sankaadi that they are the maharishi’s who have very graciously written the purans as well as Sankaadi samhita for the welfare of the unhappy jeevs so that they can free themselves from the sufferings.

26. In the world it is popularily known that the game depend on the player of the game. In the same way the Vrindavan’s niyta vihar can be available only to those sadhaks who have taken refuge in the lotu feet of Lalita sakhi who appeared as swami sri haridasji nearly 500 years ago because she is for ever residing in the heart of nitya vihar.

27. Without the compassion and grace of Lalita sakhi who is the supreme head or controler of nitya vihar, no one can even hpe to experience this maha madhu raas or keli. Therefore the sakhi’s are always bowing before her so that she kindly allows them inside the nitya vihar leea.

28. That is the reason that no one can be compared to sri Haridas ji. Only he is entitled to give the bliss of nitya vihar to the bhakts. No one else can ever do that. Swamiji is so kind and generous and has blessed thousands of sadhaks who have have been blessed by him to the nitya vihar. That is why in the first stanza of keli maal samiji himself uttered sahaj jori pragat bhaee.

29. Swami sri Haridas is o liberal that he has given this precious opportunity of reaching the nitya leela so freely to the devotees that without so many have reached there without tapas for years, meditation and tough ausrities they have attained in such a short time. Their miseries of so many births have vanished by just taking refuge under the lotus feet of swami sri hari dasji.

30. It was toplease bihari Biharini ji that Lalita sakhi made an appearane as sri Haridas for the sake of liberating the bhaktas of Bihariji. Therefore oh rasiks ! and those who really want to be sewaks of Bihari Biharini in the nikunj leela, you must seek swamiji’s blessings and use your mind, speech and brains to serve and please swamiji only.

31. Just like the sun shines during the day and the moon shines during night and just as krishna is the light of the yadavas, in the same way, Sri Haridas ji is the shing light of the nitya vihar.

32. At that time when Banke Bihariji made his appearance on Bihari panchami in the nidhi van, all those who were witness to this great event sang the glories of swami Sri Haridasji according to their capabilties.

33. The rasiks whowere present there were so joyful and grateful to swamii and praised him be singing stuties. They said , Oh swami sri Hari das ji accept our salutations and namaste! Your abode is Sri Vrindavan dham. We all with olded hands sing you glories and fall at you lotus feet for showing us the sakshaatkar of Bihari Biharini which no guru till today has been able to do. You are the life and soul of this divine jori. We protrate before you again and again to express our gratitude towards you.

34. Swami sri Agardas ji of the Ramanand sampradya without caring for his own respect as a leader of that sampradya bowed before swami sri Hari dasji and praised him singing his glories in the form of stuties.

35. The great rasik sri Hariram maharaj Vyasji says, the ust of Vrindavan’s karuva which swamiji used to use as a bowl to eat his food and drink water is is like a precious utensil made out of gold, his kanthi mala or the tulsi beaded necklace that he wears is more precious than the most precious jewels of he world and the gudhri worn by him made of soft cotton cloth with a black design in it is more precious than all the silks and velvet clothes. My worshipful Ishta Bihariji is my everything.

36. Like this these great saints who were swamji,s followers and contemporaries like swami sri Hith Harvanshji maharajji have also been instrumental in guiding me and helping to clear my doubts and have shown me the darshan of my ishta Banke Bihariji.

37. The great rasik sri Vyas ji maharaj who was dwelling Vridavan at the same time as swamiji has gone to the extent of saying that his guru swami sri Harivansh maharaj ji has composed a beautiful stuti singing the glories of sri Haridas ji.

38,39,40. The stuti sung by Harivanshji maharaj is as follows. According to Harivansh maharajji swami Haridasji is a ananya premi of Bihariji. He is infact the maharaja of the loving devotees who is always serving Kunj biharini Kunjbiharini. Except sri Kunj Bihari he has renounced all desires, luxuries and worldley pleasures and is a true saint in the real sense. His only desire is to be always be in the services of his isht Bihari, Bihariniji. He is least interested in the heaven position of Inder muninder etc. These positins are just like a small straw for him. Thus there can be no one like swami sri Haridasji who is full of so much unattachment or vairagya ever in this universe.

41. Rasik ananya sri swamiji maharaj ji has always sung he glories of the divine couple nitya Bihari—Bihariniji’s keli. He gave darshan of this keli to his disciples. Such a geneous saint he was. For himself he had only one poccesion of his karuva only which was made out of the brij raja ie dust of brij dham. He used to carry this karuva in his lotus like hands and bring water in it from the river yamuna to bathe Sri Biharji lovingly. He had renounced all vedic rituals and rites and its do’s and don’ts.

42. Dhruv das ji has also praised sri sawmi ji and gave him the same respect, status and love which he had given to his own guru. In a poem composed by sri dhruvdasji . Swami sri Haridas ji is a ananya rasik who has renounced all formalities of the vedas, who is always dwelling in the deep woods of nidhivan ever engrossed in the nitya leela of the divine jori. For his isht bihariji he has renounced everything and is very happliy bearing all the pains incurred on his body. For him there is no ifference between a poor person or an emperor. He is always drenched in the ras madhuri of Bihari Biharini only.

43. Other rasiks also sang the glories of swami sr Haridasji. In their words, swamiji is the bestower of nitya leelof the nikunj. It is only be his kripa alone that the secret of nitya keli was revealed to the people of kali yuga.

44. Swami sri Haridas ji due to his kindness and unselfish attitude towards the sorrowful living beings of kaliyuga by his mere look took away all the three kinds of sorrows namely dehiki ie pertaining to the body, devik , pertaining to the demigods andbhautik pertaining to materialistic worries. He is rasik is the bestower of the keli nikunj leela, always ever smiling like the sun. All the great saints of his period who had the opportunity to be in his company have praised him freely and unhesitatingly and have given a message to all living beings saying oh jeev wake up and from this very moment start worshiping swami sri Haridas ji if you want ever lasting liberation from this mundane world. He is so benevolent, kind and gracious that he will accept you even if you effort is very very megre. Worship only swamiji by your mind, speech and duty and atma. Go on chanting the holy name sri Hari das repeatedly.

45. Oh devotees and those bhakts who wish to acqire the divine nectar of sri Kunj bihari, biharni, you will have to renounce all the joys and pleasures of the materialitic world and chant the holy name of Swami sri Haridasji only, pray to him, serve him, remember him and him alone.

46. Incase you want o enjoy the bliss of nitya vihar, only swamiji is capable of taking you there. Therefore use you speech to do his japa all the time, use your head to bow before him and take refuge in his lotus feet. Use your mind and head and always concentrate on him and him alone.

47. If any person wants to experience the blissful nectar of nitya vihar in vrindavan, this is the best method and the easiest way to fulfil your goal. So go on chanting haridasji’s name day and night.

48. There is no scope for any doubt that if any one chants this pure and lovely name of sri Haridasji with true faith and devotion consistantly, he will definitely be entitled to enter the nitya vihar of bihari bihariniji.

49. Even if a wicked person who was crooked in his past life, gives up his bad deeds and takes to the bhakti of swami sri Haridasji and starts chanting this holy name day and night gets an opportunity to be in the company of Radha kunjbihari and serve them in the nitya mahal along with other sakhi’s and Lalitaji who came as Haridas ji to liberate so many bhakts of kali yuga.
This promise has been given to the devotees in the bhagwat geeta.
In the Bhagwat Geeta Krishna says in the ninth chapter on raj yoga that even if a wicked persom makes a sankalpa that he will renounce his bad deeds and will take to krishna bhakti, is considered as his bhakt. In the save way this stanza also says that in such a case he looks after that person as his own beloved bhakt and such a person will never fall.

50. whoever takes the permanent path of bhakti of swami sri Haridasji, is blessed by Radha ji who accepts that bhakt immediately. He is free from all bondages and sorrows of the world and lives in a joyful and happy state engrissed in the nitya vihar.

51. Such people are fortunate in this world who have taken refuge in the holy feet of swami sri Haridasji. It is he only who is ever engroseed in the keli leela of kunj bihari kunj biharini. He is the most devoted bhakt of the jori that he has become a part and parcel of them.

52. How amazing it is that there are so many ignorant devotees staying in vrindavan and who are seeking to get into nitya vihar but they have not taken to swami Haridasji’s easy method to reach there. How can they ever get this bliss without bowing before swamiji and following his sahaj footsteps ? It is only who can initiate them to the nikunj mahal.

53. Even if they stay in Vrindavan and have taken brij vaas and are following a lot of disciplines such as fasting, meditation, renoucing their relatives and friends and are going through a lot of austrities and pain of tapas will never be able to get an entry into the nikunj mahal without swamiji,s kripa.

54. The method which swamiji has given to the people of kaliyuga is so simple and uniqe, which was never given toany one till swamiji so graciously gave us. It is a sahaj method which can be followed by everyonewho takes refugein his holy feet.

55. The nitya nikunj also saves the sadhak from the most frightening bhav saagar or ocean of the world. One can easily swim across this ocean without any obstacles. All this is possible by the kripa of the divne couple who are dwelling in nidhivan in vrindavan where swami sri haridas ji is the crowning king without whose permission no one can be blessed by Shyama Shyam.

56. Those fortunate devotees who have taken refuge in the lotus feet of swamiji are blessed by him. Hence they need not fear the pangs of this mundane world and can comfortably go off to sleep because without any doubt they will get an entry into the nikunj mahal.

57. Who ever wants to be in the service or seva of Bihari Bihariniji without any penance or sacrifice must go to swamiji.s sharan and be successsful in their mission because swamiji is very kind,compassionate, liberal and above all he loves all who ever take his refuge.

58. That is the reason why devotional bhav bhakti takes the aspirant to the nikunj mahal because swamiji is very pleased with such devotees and allow them to enter the keli mandir without any doubt.

59. Whose deity is the king of kings, the ruler of the rulers, the Ishwara of the Ishwaras and one who is the Thakur of the Thakurs who is Kunj bihari and the ishta of Swami sriharidasji, may he be oursole protecter and care taker whom alone we can trust.

60. In the most purest brij raj or pure dust of sri vrindavan dham’s the greatest musician and singer of dhruv padda’s swai sri Haridasji, the beholder of the karuva his only one belonging in the form of a utensil to bring yamuna jal in order to bathe Bihariji was always singing the glories of Bihari biharini in his favorite place nidhivan raj. May he be our protecter ae well as redeemer.

61. Let Vishnu, deviji, Mahadevji be the ishta of all, but I pray that what ever karam I may do, I must only depend on swamiji to be my protecter. His bhakti should be my only one duty and dharam.

62. There are many methods to have darshan of the lord, such as knowledge, bhakti, karam, dhyaan, sewa etc but I would like to take the path of chanting sri haridas alone.Oh when will I do that?

63. Oh my mind ! my mana! My atma ! Listen to me carefully and leave all hopes and aspirations of this mundane world. The worldly pleasures are like a poison ,so renounce them and take upon the prem bhakti bhav name of sri haridasji only.

64. Oh my near real friend sakhe! If you want nitya keli leela of Bihari bihariniji, then seek sri haridasji’s blessings. Go on repeating and chanting this holy name. No one else can take you there except him alone.

65. I am confident that inspite of having such a cunning, wicked and crooked mind, I will be able to overcome all my faults by merely chanting swamiji’s holy name sri hardas again and again.There is no doubt a miracle will happen by chanting this name and I will be blessed by him.

66. I have not studied the veda’s which have prescribed by the lord Hari for the welfare of man’s deeds or karmas I have done in the past births. I have taken only one protection and that is swamii’s refuge. I know only his name and will go on chantig it day and night in all the eight yaams.

67. Let the knowldgeable person be full of knowledge, Let the dutiful people do their duties or karma’s sincerely, but I will only and only chant the holy name of sri haridas.

68. I have neither read the vead’s or te puran’s, nor have I understood the knowledge in the scriptures. I have not been able to control my senses, nor have I done any good deed for others and have not realised my inner atma, but I am only chanting the name sri haridas and am ever engrossed in Vrindavan where my beloved Bihariji dwells with bihariniji.

69. Oh saintly good hearted beings, I always pay my obiesance at the oly lotus feet of swamiji. My speech is always chanting his holy name,my eyes are alwayss focused on hos most holy auspious kind and compassionate rasik face. Except sri haridas I do not know any one else.

70. I pray that my mind should leave all expectations and hopes fromthis mundane world which is full of sorrows and pain.I only pray for brij vaas and wish to stick on here like a bumble bee and hum on the nectral flowers of vrindavan. I would never like to leave vrindavan at all.

71. My salutations to the great guru swami sri haridasji. May my heart always bow on the holy feet of swamiji always. May my tounge always talks about his glories and mayI always hear of his praises through my ears. That is my wish.

72. Oh brothers renounce this painful materialistic world which is full of pleasurable joys of the mundane world and take the boat of swamiji to swim across the ocean of this world without any sacrice or penance. Chant swamiji’s name as well as radhe shyam and make vrindawan your dwelling place where in the nidhi van raj the divine jori is always engrossed in the keli leela. All your pains will vanish if you take the refuge inswamji’s feet.

73. Swamiji ! in case I take birth in any other species due to my past deeds or karmas, I pray that in the end ley my full faith be on your lotus feet only.

74. Oh compassionate and kind hearted swamiji! I am completely drowned all over in the pains and pleasure of the materialistic worldly affairs. All my senses are out of my control and are my greatest enemies. Due to this I am in a most itiabe state. I have come to your refuge. You yourself can only by you liberal and kind attitude can redeem me and take me in your services.

75. Oh swamiji please tell me where should I go? What should I do? This world is very selfish painful and fearful. I have no place to go. I have no arrangements or power with whose help I can cross this ocean or bhav saagar. Therfore I have come to you. Please accept me and embrace me because you are my only wellwisher, friend and refuge who can help me from this painful mundane world.

76. Oh swamiji ! when will you put your pure and auspicious lotus hands on my head so that I get your blessings of an entry into the nitya leela. When will be able to see you blissful leela in the nikunj mahal?

77. Oh bestower of the nectar which is being showered in the nikunj mahal when will you hold my hand and take me in front of sri knj bihari and kunj biharini with faith an love and hand me over to them for their seva?

78. Oh gracious, swamiji you are illumined in the blissful raas of the divine jori. Many raag raagni’s are appearing from their feet constantly in the form of notes or strings of mucical sargams. Such a jori is your treasure. When will you show me their raas?

79. Oh lord swamiji!when will that moment come in my life when I will be seeing the wonderful raas mandal where the divine couple would be singing melodious songs along with their enchanting dance with all the sakhi’s?

80. Oh rasik maharaj swamiji without your desire or permission it is impossible to get into the nitya leela, but those who have taken refuge in your holy feet can easily be taken by you there and enjoy the blissful nectar flowing there. Such a swamini of vrindavan sri kunj bihariji s in your hands. When will I get the opportunity to serve her.

81. Oh swamiji when will you free me from the materialistic world and when will I stay alone in the vihar of vrindavan? When will I give up all the pleasures of the world and sing your glories day and night. When will I enjoy the bliss of nitya vihar?

82. The auspicious name of Bihari biharini is so effective that it works like magic and within a few days only, the mind becomes balanced without much effort. Very soon the sadhak or the aspirant starts renoucing the worldly comforts and joys and renounces every thing like a straw is thrown. He automatically gets vairaagya and enjoys chanting Bihari Biharini’s name only. Hence oh jeeva’s If you want to remember, then remember swamiji’s name only. If you want to domedtation, ten meditate on swami sriharidas ji only. If you want to praise and chant glories, then chant he glories if swaniji only.

83. Oh my mind! when you wish to serve the divine jori in the nikunj mahal, then you must seek only sri haridasji alone. This nitya leela is also not possible for Brahmaji maheshji and other demi gods or devta’s. Therefore do not loose the opportunity to this precious leela.

84. Oh my chitha! Wake up. Shed away your laziness and wow from this very moment that you will only meditate on the roop of sriharidasji. O head! promise that you will always bow before swamiji and chant his divine blissful name. Then there is no doubt about your entery in to the nitya vihar.

85. The nitya kunj vihar of Rahde Krishna is hidden far away from even such great devi’s like Sitaji, Rukmaniji, Umaji, sarswatiji as well as the beloved brij gopi’s of vrindavan. It is avaiable for only those bhakts who have come under the shelter o swami srihari- dasji.

86. Even those bhakts who are in brij vaas and have spent their whole life in vrindavan dham and are engaged in prem bhakti of Radha Krishna and lead a simple and humble life of vairagya and have shunned their home, relatives, friends and all materialistic pleasures and joys and are always engrossed in bhakti bhava ,are free from any sorrow or joy, are not bothered if hey are praised or talked ill about them. They are always engrossed in prem bhakti of srikunjbihari and always keep hm in their heart do not get an entry in to the nikunj mahal.

87. Those bhakts of bihari bihariniji who have given up the joys of senses just as they would give up a straw and are always doing japa and are engrossed in the chanting of the name of swami sri haridasji only while staying in the pawan or pure land of brij, may I always be in the company of such highly enlightened and bhakti bhav saintly persons.

88. I pray that I never get the company of wicked, cunning, materialistic ignorant, foolish people even in my dreams. Iwould always like to be in the company of bhakts of swami sriharidasji and like to listen swamiji’s glories and chant his name with these good people.

89,90. Oh Hari! Oh my life, my breath sri nitya bihariji!, the senseous enemies are so strong that they have captivated me . Now I have come to your refuge. Please take me out of the darkness of tama and moha maya which is pulling me like a magent towards it. Help me please and make me pure and vairagisi that I can be entitled to enter your nitya vihar leela in your nitya dhaam. Without completely surrendering in your holy feet I will not be able to come out of the woeldly cycle of birth and death. Save me from that and give your seva.

91. My dear Ishwar of vrindavan! You are full of nectral bliss and you are the swami, the samraat of vrindavan dham. You are the ever youthful jori of vrindavan hence you are known as yugal kishore. Show your mercy to me so that I can see youy prem drenched nitya leela..

92. Oh srinitya viharini sriradhika ji when will I reside in your vrindavan dham as a permanent brij vassi? When will be distracted from the matereialistic worldy pleasures and joys and become zeero so that I take interest in being in your lotus feet only.

93. Oh Bihariniji! You are not pleased with me that is why you have not bestowed your kripa on me because I am for ever running after senseous objects of the world. It is only when you bless me and are compassionate to me that I can be free from all that. Therefore kindly shower your kripa on me so that I come to you in the nitya vihar.

94. Oh sriradhikaji! Swamini of the nikunj vihaar, you are the predominator or enjoyer of the nikunj leela , only by chanting your glories one can forget the intoxication of the materialistic world, hence it is very easy for you to grant your blissful tranquality by onlr your bashful glance. I pray that I always meditate on you in every birth, and never forget you.

95. Oh swamini! , my soul and my life, I am without any of the qualifications or conditions which can bring me closer to you. I am still attracted towards worldly joys. When will you accept me as your humble servant?

96. Oh godess of kindness! You are loving to her own devotees who your personal servants. So many fortunate people have woeshiped you and even those who have not worshiped you, you have enough space in your lotus feet to accommodate every one. AIong with these bhakts accept me as well.

97. My dear vrindavan viharini! I have shown my desire to be in your lotus feet. Just as a lame can climb the mountain with your blessings and a dumb can speak, so also I am hoping I too will be able to serve you in the nikunj mahal.

98. Oh praaneshwari and snehamai swamini! Please overlook my negative bad deeds by your kind nature who always looks at the good side of the sadhak. It is in your nature to melt for those bhakts who are even a little attached to you. I know that you can not bear to see even a little pain of your devotees and you are an ocean of kindness. After seeing you own kind nature allow me to be your dasi so that I can serve you in the nitya leela.

99. Oh my most compassionate loving snehmai swamini Radhe! When will I be seeing your leela when you are puffed up and annoyed with Bihariji and he speaks in a lamentation voice choked with love for you and pacifies you to come out of that mood touching your lotus feet and then massaging them?

100. Oh praaneshwar Ladliji! In this whole world no one will be as bad and sinful as me, and as good and compassionate as you. So why don’t you act according to your name of Karunanidhi (kind hearted) I am a fallen person but you are redeemer. You are so pure, auspicious and blissful. Therefore I am confident that you will not dissapoint me.

101. You are a gold mine of kindness and compassion. Oh Radhe who so ever keeps your name on his tounge throughout day and night or chants your holy name, for that sadhak why will you not give the opportunity to get into nitya vihar leela? I am sure yes, no doubt that being will surley be given a chance.

102. Oh swamini Lalitaji! you are one who is compassionate to all beings.My obeinsances at your holy feet. First of all I prostrate on your lotus feet. It is only all due to your kindness that you have made this jori Kunjbihari, kunjbiharini appear on this earth at Vrindavan and it is all your grace that you have brought the light of this hidden and most misterious nitya vihar nikunj which no body before knew of, till you made this nectral jori appear at nidhi van.

103. I pray that I get permanent bhakti which never fades away and kripa of the jori as well as their most beloved sakhi sri Lalita ji in the most opulence, beautiful, enchanting, full of tranquality vrindavan which is the nectral blissful dham of sri kunj bihari –kunj biharini as well as their most intimate sakhi who Is a part of them.

104. Oh bhakts and rasiks of sriharidasji! If you want to destroy your sins and evils of your past deeds which are coming as an obsticle in the form of sensuous pleasure and maya then there is only one method to overcome them, and that is to seek sakhi sri Haridasji’s holy feet and read this mahimaamrit with full faith, devotion, belief and respect everyday and drink this nectar via the ears.

105. Whoever reads or sings this mahimaamrit of swami sriharidasji with devotion every day without fail, in such a sadhak’s heart srikunjbiharni along with srikunjbiharji and Lalitaji come and reside permanently for ever.

106. This limitlss most vairagyamai or saintly mahimaamrat written in praise of swami sriharidas ji has been composed by rasikvar sri Nand Kishoreji.

May this composition of Nand kishore ji be accepted by swamiji.

Swami Haridasji's Keli Leela in Bhaav Smadhi 1-40 padaas

Nikunj is a place in Vrindavan which is surrounded by vrinda or tulsi shrubs. In these grooves of creepers the divine jori or couple loves to spend their pastime. This place exists in Nidhivan from where Shri Banke Bihari appeared by hearing the sangeet of Swami Shri Haridasji some 500 hundred years ago. There are five important vanas in Mathura. Each has a story of Krishna with these vana’s.They as as follows:- MADHU VAN----- This vana is very attractive and the vibrations are like those of a tapo bhumi.
