BRIJ BHOOMI Brij bhoomi is the area where Krishna had spent his child hood in the dwapur yuga The past times of Krishna can be seen by all but after that although Krishna is always there we can not see him. Krishna loves BRIJ BHOOMI which is the area starting from Kosi to the borders of Agra and Aligarh. It includes Nand gaon, Barsana, Goverdhan ,Gokul ,Vrindavan. River .Yamuna flows along Vrindavan , Mathura, Gokul etc. Kalindi is another name of river yamuna. She is the daughter of sun god and sister of yamraj the god of death. She in the form of a beautiful women is one of the eight important wives of bhagwan Krishna. Krishna used to love playing and bathing in yamuna everday. He used to follow the gopis ,the damsels of Vrindavan to tease them and have fun by breaking their earthen pot which they used to fill with water from the river yamuna for their household use.
